The World's First Green Hydrogen-Powered Distillery
Arbikie does things differently. Steam is a crucial part of the distilling process and usually derived from unsustainable methods such as fossil fuels. With the introduction of their new green hydrogen electrolyser, Arbikie will become the world's first climate positive distillery.
The technology involves no alteration to the spirit making process whilst producing zero carbon emissions at combustion. The Stirling brothers are currently instaling this to maintain their momentum to being one of the world's most sustainable distilleries.
The Stirling Brothers
Brother David, Iain and John Stirling are the visionaries and driving force behind the distillery. As with all farming families, they grew up working around the farm, and it is this hands-on experience that gave them a deep understanding and respect for the land.

LIMITED EDITION SINGLE FARM ESTATE WHISKY
This series adds a unique element to our 1794 Highland Rye Single Grain Scotch Whisky. It will feature limited releases of inspiring and deeply flavoured editions of our rye whisky, chosen by their expert distillers. Each edition will possess its own nuanced flavour and character.
This first edition of The Arbikie Distillers Cask Strength Series features a hand-picked combination of four 5-year-old casks, chosen to accentuate the complexity and depth of our estate grown rye coupled with the influence of the selected casks.
This original meld creates aromas of chai tea, baked oranges, crème brûlée and smoke. On the palate are complex layers of chai tea, caramelised pears, baked oranges and smoke.
